Awesome place with amenities like free wi-fi, laundry, and a bar area. The 24-hour reception staff helped me with my luggage on my first stay. I always recommend it and am coming back for Easter.

Every time in Strasbourg, I choose this place. The venue is big size and fairly clean with a good value and competent and excellent staff. Make sure you stay in the cosy room with a mini-fridge, 2 double beds, the fan. The atmosphere of the hotel is cosy!

Hotel Suisse in Strasbourg surprised me in many ways. The location is unbeatable, just a short stroll from the fine cathedral. My room, the Cozy Double Room with Cathedral View, offered a beautiful view of the cathedral. The breakfast was excellent, with a great selection of pastries and fresh items. Noise disturbances at night were a downside. I noticed the walls weren't very soundproof, hard to relax. The staff were attentive but could use better communication regarding parking access, especially during busy seasons like Christmas. I enjoyed my stay but felt the hotel could improve on noise insulation and providing clear arrival information.

The staff provided really good service. The room offered a lovely view of the cathedral, which enhanced the overall experience. The bathroom had convenient bathrobes, contributing to a nice touch of luxury. The noise from the street could be disruptive during the day, and the two queen beds in the family room setup were oddly positioned too close together were good. The breakfast options included good small hamburgers, a pleasant surprise.

Staff friendly and very well located.
Room was too loud, hot and uncomfortable. No safe, luckily we had locks for our suitcases. Room and bathroom could probably do with a deep clean.

We loved our stay at this hotel. The breakfast was very good and the location was perfect. We were able to walk everywhere and had a very nice weekend getaway. The staff was friendly and spoke very good English.
Our only complaint would be the lack of shower. It wouldn't be that hard to convert it into a tub shower with a shower curtain and I'm not sure why they haven't done this to date.

I really enjoyed the breakfast served at the terrace. The room was well-equipped and well furnished, especially the bed was extremely comfy. The hotel had a very central location and it was minutes away from The Rohan Palace. Moreover, it was so close to the main square of restaurants, the Notre Dame church and the center.

Location excellent for exploring the (extremely picturesque) city centre - right next to the cathedral and tourist information centre, very close to the river boat docks, and fairly close to one of the bicycle hire centres. Very good value. Nice big rooms. We used one of the recommended city car parks (Austerlitz, 11 euros per day), and it was fine, just 5 minutes walk from the hotel.
The pay-off of being so close to the city centre was that it was noisy at night. We stayed during a very warm early September, so we kept the windows open (2nd floor), and there was some serious noise (singing and shouting) from inebriated people in the streets. The window glazing was good, and I think that it wouldn't have been so bad if the weather had been cool enough to sleep with closed windows. Otherwise, I recommend taking ear plugs.

Friendly staff, excellent central location, quiet street, nice decoration of the ground floor
Our room and the bathroom were very small, there was no room to place the luggages
